Hello, favorite day of the week! Nice to see you again. I’m so excited that it’s Friday, and I’m pretty sure that most of you are too. It’s been a busy and quick week here. Today at work we are having a potluck and corn hole tournament in the office, so that should be fun. I don’t really have too much planned yet for the weekend, just some good old relaxation and plan as we go I guess. But before I go, I wanted to leave you with a few things I’ve been loving lately. Take a look…
(1) S’mores with Reece’s.
So apparently Wednesday was National S’mores Day, can’t go wrong with that. I recently went to a friends house and had a game night and bonfire with these tasty treats. It was my first time trying s’mores with Reece’s and it was delicious! Graham cracker, toasty marshmallow, and chocolate peanut buttery goodness. Seriously, revolutionizing the way I do s’mores from now on.
(2) SALE on select wax melts.
Have you been on my Etsy shop yet? I make and sell soy wax melts, tarts, and soon to be candles. There is currently a sale going on with some of the early summer scents (like Market flowers, Bahama Breeze, Seaside Cotton, and more) so I can make room for some lovely fall scents! I can’t wait, Fall is the best time for scents and we have some really great ones picked out for you guys.
(3) Miracles from Heaven.
If you want to watch a good tear jerker than this is the one! Mike & I had a little movie night this week and rented it from Redbox. It was a pretty good movie. This was my pick, can you tell? Usually we take turns on who gets to pick out the movie. If it’s Mike’s picks it’s usually something to do with action. Lol.
(4) Instagram stories.
I wanted to share my thoughts on the new Instagram stories. So far, I am liking it. At first I wasn’t into it and it took me a few days to post my first story. It’s still hard for me to remember to post on it along with Snapchat, but one thing I do like is being able to see all these people’s stories that I follow on Instagram that I’m not friends with on Snapchat.
(5) Chalk paint mason jars.
At the wedding I went to last weekend there were cute painted mason jars with flowers on the table. I’ve been seeing these all over Pinterest lately and I’m obsessed. They are just so pretty and they seem easy to make. Find the tutorial on how to make these from ‘It all started with paint’ here.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! 🙂
