Happy Friday! Another week has come and gone and I for one am thrilled this week is over. It’s unbelievable how fast summer goes by, this is already the last Five on Friday post for August. Crazyyyy. This time next week it will be September. The Fall season is upon us you guys! I’m excited for all things Fall though, I love the cool weather, the clothes, and of course the pumpkin flavored everything. We had two days here this week that felt like Fall, but it’s suppose to get hot again. I know that fall doesn’t officially start until the end of September, but it seems like you blink and then bam it’s here. I’ve been really busy this week making wax melts for the new Abundant Scents Fall line and I’m hoping to have it launched sometime this weekend. (So keep a look out on Etsy!) Speaking of the weekend, did I mention I am so looking forward to it? I have a few things I need to get checked off my to do list and hopefully I can get it all done. But, first I wanted to share my Friday favorites with you!
(1) This Shirt.
It wouldn’t be Fall without football! I love this shirt from Be Still Clothing Company and I can’t wait to start wearing it. I tried it on and it’s perfect. Jesus & Football… what could be better?! My hubby loves football, our team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
(2) Beach Mornings
I don’t think there is anything better than beach mornings, or the beach in general. In about 2 weeks I’ll be having some beautiful mornings like this. I have a whole week off of work and we are going on a vacation to Ocean Isle, NC. I can’t wait!! Until then I’ll just be here staring at this picture pretending I’m already there.
(3) Chipotle’s Guac Recipe.
If you’re anything like me and Chipotle obsessed you’ll be happy to know Chipotle shared their famous guacamole recipe and it’s so easy to make! We made it last weekend and it was delicious. Click here to find the recipe. You’re welcome.
(4) Sally Hansen Instant Dry Nail Polish.
I’m all about fast drying nail polish. Scored this awesome Sally Hansen polish in the color ‘Pink Blink’ for under 5 dollars at target. The color is really nice and goes on smooth. I always love the light pink colors, along with nude and any other neutral color.
All I’ve been seeing in my newsfeed lately is sunflowers and It’s wonderful. I love sunflowers, they are so pretty! They just started selling them at my local farmer’s market, but I got there a little late and they were sold out. I’ going to be on the look out and if I don’t find any at the store then next week is my week, I NEED to buy some.
That’s all on this lovely Friday. I hope you all have a great weekend!! 🙂
Question: Have you ever been to Ocean Isle, NC? Any suggestions for what we should do there?
