Happy New Year! I can’t believe we are already in 2017. I hope you all had a wonderful time ringing in the new year with your loved ones. Many people like to take this time and look at what they’ve done this year and think about what they would like to change or do differently next year by setting resolutions or goals. It’s so fun to start a new year because it feels like a fresh new start! I have some goals that I thought of and would like to share with all of you. I feel like if I write them down I’ll be more inclined and motivated to work at them.
Read more books. Volunteer more. Learn how to use my DSLR camera. Be intentional. Show more love to others.
Eat healthy. Work out at least 3 x a week. Drink more water.
More dates. More grace. More reading, praying and worshiping together. Learn how to love each other better.
Focus on my blog more. Post new blog posts atleast once a week.
Coming up with goals and resolutions can be difficult. If you’re having trouble coming up with some goals you would like to achieve in the New Year then start small. Make sure your goals are realistic and beneficial. Sit down and ask yourself some questions like, “do I have a habit I need to break?”, “Is there a book I would like to read?”, “Is there a person I need to reach out to?”, or “Is there a new skill I would like to learn?” These questions could help get your mind going and come up with some great goals for the new year.
I hope you all have an amazing New Year and I hope 2017 brings you joy, love and blessings! Thank you for following along on my journey and for all of your support and kindness.
What are some of your resolutions this year? Did any of mine inspire you? Leave them in the comments below! I’d love to hear them.
