I’m back from vacation! Our summer vacay has come to an end and I’m already back to the real world. It was such a great and much needed vacation. I personally needed a recharge and escape from job stress. I can’t think of anywhere better to go than the quiet little town on the coast, Ocean Isle, North Carolina. We were fortunate enough to stay in a big and beautiful house with our friends for the whole week! Thankful for the relaxation, laughs, and memories.
These are just a few photos, but doesn’t it look amazing? The house is was gorgeous and colorful. I was obsessed with all the natural light. It was so much fun sitting out on the deck with our friends and drinking our coffee. The house was also so close to the beach.
Each day on vacation was pretty similar, which was fun because I love my “beach routine.” Every morning we would wake up around 7 and go for a morning walk on the beach and pick seashells. I loved the peacefulness of the beach in the mornings. This is what it looked like when I’d leave the house in the mornings..
Then we would come back and eat breakfast and get ready to spend the afternoon at the beach. Beach days are the best days. The beach was so nice and the water was so warm! Nothing better than tanning, swimming, playing Frisbee and of course corn hole all day. Boy vs girls.. and let me tell you I think us girls dominated! 🙂 (Unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures of all of us though.)
After spending the afternoon at the beach we would come home and make lunch, relax a little in the house and then head back to the beach or to the pool until dinner time. After dinner we would all usually watch tv or a movie and hangout.
There was a lot to do around the little town of Ocean Isle like go on walks, ride bikes, go for ice cream, mini golf, and there is a few different restaurants to go to. We drove to Myrtle Beach one of the nights to go to the famous Joe’s Crab Shack. It was Mike & I’s first time there and we really liked it! Another place that is definitely worth checking out if your there is Drift coffee shop. I love hip trendy coffee shops and this one is so neat! Not to mention their coffee is delicious too.
That pretty much sums up our vacation! It was the best way to say goodbye to summer. Thanks for reading. I hope you have a great day 🙂
